Benjamin Allen, Vice Chairman
Ben Allen currently serves as the Vice Chairman and is a co-founder of The New Orleans Startup Fund. He is the founder and President of Dolphin Debit Access, a national provider of outsourcing services to community banks and credit unions. Previously, Mr. Allen spent 15 years in corporate finance with Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch, where his responsibilities included advising on mergers & acquisitions and capital raising for early-stage companies. Ben received a Bachelors Degree in finance from Texas A&M University and a Masters Degree in Economics from The Johns Hopkins University. Ben also serves as Chairman of the Board of KIPP New Orleans Schools, the largest charter school operator in New Orleans.
