Rick S. Rees
Rick Rees co-founded and is a general partner in LongueVue Capital, a private equity firm based in New Orleans that makes value oriented investments in middle market companies. Rick is a certified public accountant and has extensive experience as a financial executive. He previously served as the CFO of Halter Marine Group, a $1 billion revenue publicly traded shipbuilding company. Prior to his involvement with Halter, Rick was a managing partner in City Capital Corp., a private equity firm with significant interests in a number of maritime related businesses, including marine finance, offshore rig construction and repair, and private maritime ports.
Mr. Rees serves on the board of trustees of Tulane University, Isidore Newman School, and is President of the Advisory Council of the A.B. Freeman School of Business. He is also active in numerous professional and community organizations. Rick earned his BA degree in 1974 cum laude from Tulane, and in 1975 received his MBA from Tulane’s A.B. Freeman School of Business.
